Our Training

Department

Our client approached us with the challenge of transforming a dull and uninspiring black and white stairwell into a space that would motivate and inspire staff and clients from the moment they entered the building. They wanted the space to reflect the company's brand identity and create a sense of arrival, similar to the iconic Anfield tunnel.

We took inspiration from the client's brief and their customer feedback of being ‘old fashioned’ and turned it into retro. We used a bold and colourful block design scheme that incorporated the company's new branding colours. To add interest and texture, we incorporated Flotex flooring with a patterned design to the stair risers providing a durable, easy to clean, and colourful solution to the space. We also incorporated preserved moss wall art, flexible changing letter shelves for displaying messages, and a Polaroid-style clip frame display.

The transformed stairwell is now a vibrant and welcoming space that reflects the company's brand identity. The use of colour, pattern, and texture has created a space that is both visually appealing and inspiring. The client is delighted with the results, and their visitors have commented on the positive and inspiring atmosphere of the space.

Andy Crotty - Joint Managing Director, Our Training Department Ltd.

“I was referred to HSC interiors by a mutual acquaintance and I’m very happy that I was. The aim of the project was to transform the office stairwell into something more inspiring and uplifting for our team as well as for visiting customers. Hannah did a great job of really understanding what was needed and took the time to talk everything through.

The new look stairwell has had lots of positive feedback and I’m very satisfied with the job that Hannah and her team have done for OTD. The only downside is that the rest of the office needs uplifting now to match the stairwell!”
