Fine Bakers
Fine Bakers is a successful family-owned Asian bakery based in Huddersfield with a reputation among locals for serving traditional sweet and savoury treats befitting all occasions. However, having first opened their doors to the public in 2006, the business's interior and exterior design had grown tired and dated over time.
Craving a new aesthetically pleasing look to fit better with their sleek logo and packaging style, Fine Bakers was eager to upgrade their establishment with a complete refurb. In keeping with the tone of the company's branding, we transformed the bakery from dated to dazzling by changing the colour scheme to feature sleek and modern monochromatic tones. We added caged pendant lighting and swapped out the old white-tiled walls and weathered floors for smooth marble panelling and timber-effect vinyl flooring to withstand the bakery's heavy footfall.
Additional storage display options were added along the back counter in the form of box wall shelves; giving the bakery a more put-together feel. We enclosed some of these shelves with transparent doors to protect the food while others were left open for increased use and customer visibility. Accommodating the client's requests, we also designed a bespoke display section for wicker baskets, which the business uses for making up hampers.

Despite the limited linear layout, the Fine Bakers establishment flows seamlessly. With the 2nd doorway now clear for use and the lime-green exterior re-decorated black, the bakery now feels like a completely different space.
